About

My research interests are generally in the intersection of ethics, law, and economics, with two specific areas of focus. The first involves the proper understanding and normative status of liberty and politicarl libertarianism.  The second has to do with the nature and moral significance of exploitation for individual ethics and political institutions. I am the editor of a textbook for Routledge entitled Arguing About Political Philosophy, and am currently working on a manuscript entitled Exploitation, Capitalism and the State.
In my spare time, I am an avid homebrewer and a BJCP certified beer judge.  I am also the founder of the Bleeding Heart Libertarians blog.
